Leading the Indonesian Delegation at IMT GT GCMC, Regent of Lebong Kopli Ansori Invites to Continue Meetings in Indonesia

Ipoh Malaysia.PortalBermano.com – The Six Indonesia Malaysia Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT GT) Green Cities Mayor Council (GCMC) Meeting 2023 is being held again in Ipoh, Malaysia, Tuesday (8/8).

Apart from the Regent of Lebong, Kopli Ansori, the 6th meeting of the IMT-GT GCMC Meeting was also attended by the Head of Lebong Bappeda, Zulhendri, Head of Environment Agency Indera Gunawan, Acting Head of BKPSDM Lebong, Benny Qodratullah, Head of Lebong Health Office Rachman, and Head of Protocol and Communications Head of Regional Secretariat , Fendi.

In his remarks, the Regent of Lebong, Kopli Ansori said, on behalf of the Government of Lebong Regency, he expressed his deepest gratitude to the Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh, the Malaysian National Secretariat, and CIMT for holding the 6th Council of Mayors of the Green City which will be held sequentially with the Green Council. 6. Kopli who acts as Chair of the Delegation from Indonesia is of the opinion that Ipoh is one of the cities chosen to implement the Green City concept.

“Congratulations to Ipoh for being a role model for a great city that embodies sustainability and serving as an inspiring host for this important event. His commendable efforts resonated deeply and served as an engaging source of inspiration for all who attended,” he said, Tuesday (8/ 8).

According to him, the Green City concept is very good. Because the Lebong Regency Government is there to coordinate in a large forum with several countries to support sustainable development.

“Together, let’s build a greener future, with green infrastructure, renewable energy, and responsible governance. Our mission is to create cities that thrive in harmony with nature. Let this moment be our inspiration and opportunity to learn from each other as we work towards a sustainable and green sub-region,” he said.

He hopes that such meetings will continue in Indonesia. “Of course we propose that meetings like this can be held in Indonesia. We are waiting for them in Indonesia,” he concluded.(Alexander)
